Starting on September 9th, the AFIN Group will launch the second series of the podcast “Conversaciones AFINes” (AFIN Conversations) on Spotify and Ivoox. The series is titled “The Invisible Trimester: Silence and Taboo in the First 12 Weeks of Pregnancy.” This series focuses on research results regarding the experiences and challenges faced by pregnant individuals, their families, and professionals during the first trimester of pregnancy. The 8 episodes, featuring national and international professionals in anthropology, psychiatry, obstetrics, and nursing, are the result of research conducted by the AFIN Group from the perspective of social anthropology and interdisciplinary health sciences on preeclampsia, early pregnancy losses, and the care of high-risk pregnancies.
