On November 16, the online seminar “Irregular displacements and adoptions in Spain: dialogues for the construction of a collective memory” took place, which closed the project “Building memory collectively”, financed by the Ministry of the Presidency, Relations with the Cortes and Democratic Memory. Its objective was to reflect, dialogue, and generate knowledge around collective memory, especially to contribute to the visibility, recognition and well-being of people affected by irregular adoptions in Spain.

In addition, the web platform Irregular Adoptions was presented, which aims to make resources and testimonies available to various interested audiences. to make visible and examine forced displacements and irregular adoptions of babies, girls, boys and adolescents, both in Spain and in the rest of the world. To this end, it offers a series of resources that will be updated periodically (audiovisuals, scientific bibliography, reports, manuals, specialized guides, press releases, etc.). It is hoped that materials with the voices of people affected by this problem can be added soon.
