Dr. Anna Molas, Juan de la Cierva researcher in the AFIN group of the Department of Social Anthropology, has been staying at the University of California, Berkeley since February 2024. Thanks to the mobility scholarship from the Ministry that she obtained, José Castillejo has become a visiting researcher at the Center for the Study of Science, Technology and Medicine (CSTMS, by its initials in English), one of the most important in this area, where it will remain until June.
During her stay, Anna participates in various activities organized by the center, such as its series of seminars, workshops and its work group. During the semester she spends at the Center, Anna is coordinating and moderating the stable working group in which, on a rotating basis, researchers share with the rest texts that are in the process of preparation or other products to obtain feedback that can help polish them. At the same time, she has had the opportunity to present her work in various groups and colloquiums at the university. This stay represents a great opportunity to establish new networks internationally and learn about new contexts of university research and teaching.
