AFIN magazine is a digital, bi-monthly publication focused on our research results that is directed at the wider public.

Aimed at a wide audience of around 32,000 subscribers, it has been consulted and downloaded by more than 40,000 people from the Digital Repository of the Library of the Autonomous University of Barcelona since its launch in 2009.

Among its reading public are professionals and members of associations, as well as Spanish, English and Catalan-speaking research groups.

This publication analyzes and disseminates the results of research linked to sex and gender issues; family, kinship and care systems; human reproduction and (in)fertility -ARTs, adoption, surrogacy, ‘donation’ of gametes and embryos; fertility preservation; pregnancy and birth-; reproductive desires, policies, rights, justice and governance; genetic diagnostics and technologies; memory, secrecy and anonymity; missing and stolen babies and children; diverse childhoods, adolescences and youths; parenting, upbringing and family life; social relationships; bodies, disabilities and death.
